HIMSS 2014 is next week! I can’t believe it’s here. We are excited to be exhibiting alongside several of our neighbor HIT companies in the Georgia Pavilion. Everyone has crazy busy plans for the week but before we head to Orlando, I wanted to share a few things we’re looking forward to at this year’s conference:
The HIMSS Experience
While Patientco has exhibited at HIMSS in the past, this will be my first time demonstrating our patient payment automation solution to CIOs in an environment prized for its thought leadership. In addition to exhibiting, our team members are looking forward to attending education sessions, networking events, and the keynotes. My goal is to gain twice the knowledge I give. Whew, exhausting but totally worth it!
The Georgia Pavilion
It’s no secret that Atlanta is a healthcare and financial technology hub, and being located in a state with over 225 healthcare IT companies has allowed us the privilege of working alongside innovators like Airwatch, Digital Assent, and Brightwhistle. Another benefit of exhibiting in the pavilion means you can meet us at the GA HIMSS reception Tuesday afternoon from 4-6pm and enjoy some food and drinks on us!
While not everyone on the Patientco team was able to score a ticket to the hottest event at HIMSS, those of us who did are pretty darn excited. HIStalk has been a valuable resource for us both as a partner and as a provider of unbiased industry insight. Will I meet the elusive Mr. HIStalk? Stay tuned for our post-HIMSS blog.
Learning from Thought Leaders
One of the best parts of HIMSS is that its ubiquity means all of the best minds in the industry will attend, and not just speak at the sessions, but also give feedback on the exhibit floor and shake hands at various social events. Instead of following the work (and tweets) of people like Jennifer Dennard and Lisa Crymes from behind a computer screen, I’ll get a chance to catch up with them in person.
Catching Up With Our Partners
Are you headed to HIMSS next week? We’d love to meet you. Stop by booth 4021 to say hello… we might even have a free cup of coffee for you.
If you aren’t attending the conference, not to worry, we’ll be tweeting live from the event, and if you are, safe travels and see you there!
